Lets Play Music Summer Camp!
Children ages 4-8


In Lets Play Music your children learn through PLAY! Musical concepts and skills are presented in a playful, joyful setting so your children absorb knowledge and ability. As your child plays, they will learn solfeggio hand signs and singing patterns, rhythm reading and performing, staff reading and playing on tone bells, primary chord playing and recognition, classical music recognition and ear training!

Book Club Invite

Come join us at Book Club on Wednesday, May 6th, at 7:00pm. It will be held at Debbie Kutchinsky's home and all are welcome--even if you haven't had a chance to read the book, please come. The title of the book is: Rachel & Leah by Orson Scott Card.

Relief Society Day of Service

Friday, May 1 – Relief Society Day of Service 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Jackie Johnson’s. Come when you want, stay as long as you can. Babysitter available till 12:30. Yummy lunch for all provided! Visit and have fun while working on various EASY PROJECTS such as greeting card kits for Mexican handicapped children, sewing & stuffing puppets for the Church Humanitarian project, cutting & assembling story books & wall hanging for orphanages. No experience needed. Please come, we need your help to help the world!

Missionary Enrichment

Cooking a simple omelet...We had a wonderful Mini-Enrichment Tuesday night that involved the young men in our ward-ages 8 to 17- and their mothers. The boys learned some skills that will help them prepare for and serve missions when they turn 19. We appreciate all that attended, especially those that helped teach the boys these skills, and for the presentation by Brother Votaw. Thank you Enrichment Committee for a great evening.

DESERET INDUSTRIES DONATION GUIDELINES

The Chandler Stake Deseret Industries donation collection event will be held on April 25, 2009 between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 noon at the McQueen Building located at 17817 South McQueen Road, Chandler, AZ. Listed below are acceptable and unacceptable donation guidelines. We strongly encourage members’ support of this faith-promoting endeavor.



DESERET INDUSTRIES NO LONGER REPAIRS APPLIANCES, FURNITURE, ELECTRONCIS, OR OTHER BROKEN ITEMS

Drop in daycare now being offered at Shanda Navarro's. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 3 pm. Hourly rate of $5.00 per hour, not to exceed $25.00 per day. I also have 1 full time position opening up at the beginning of the school year. $125.00 per week includes breakfast, lunch, and snack. Please call 480-857-6323. Thank you.
